Our aim with the magazine
is to promote all genres of folk song and music.
Reviews of CDs, books, live
events, etc. will be printed. Reviewed by a panel of
"folkies" drawn from all angles. There is no point in some one
doing a review if they don't like the music!
Hopefully, CDs,
instruments, repairers, etc. will be advertised in the pages of the magazine as
well as clubs, concerts, dances, festivals, etc.
If you have been to a
concert or other event that you've enjoyed, send a review to us (approx. 100
words). Not just the national names, but local artists, who can often provide a
better evenings entertainment than some of the 'ego' performers. Some clubs tend
to forget that nearly all the 'stars' started at the folk club.
