Tenterden Folk Day Trust and Tenterden Folk Festival

Tenterden Folk Day Trust recently picked up a Special Mention Award at the Kent Volunteers Awards for Volunteering Excellence 2004. Festival Director Alan Castle and Committee members Dave and Eileen Masterson were presented with a certificate at a ceremony at the Ramada Hotel in Maidstone. The award recognises the work done by all of the volunteers (Trustees, Committee, Stewards, dance sides and display teams, musicians, singers, etc.) involved in Tenterden Folk Festival and the Trust’s other projects.
