The tenth Tenterden Folk Festival will take place from Friday 4th to Sunday 6th October and the Craft Fair will again be a very important part of the weekend's activities.

The Craft Fair will be held in the Assembly Rooms in the Town Hall from 10am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. The fee for this year is £20 for one day, and £30 for both days, and tables will be provided.

This year there will be spaces for 30 stalls outside numbers 69 to 1 39 High Street. Stalls outside will cost £30 for one day, £50 for two days. Stallholders will have to provide their own stalls, and will be expected to have £1 million public liability insurance.

Stall holders will only be able to unload at the rear of the Town Hall, or on the road in front of 69-139 High Street, and are then required to move their vehicles to one of the town car parks where they must pay the usual charges, or to the station where parking will be free.

The emphasis will as always be on Traditional Kentish Crafts and demonstrations of your craft will be encouraged. Dancers and other festival quests will visit both venues to entertain you and your customers. In keeping with the mood of the day, you are encouraged to dress up in period costume.
