NEW CAMP SITE CONFIRMED

Tenterden Folk Festival 2005

The background:

Please note that due to the introduction of the new Single Farm Subsidy, Mr Edwards is unable to allow us to use his field for camping this year.  Although they are supporting the Festival in several other ways, Kent and East Sussex Railway are now unable to allow any camping due to planning regulations.  Due to problems with access, no caravans will be allowed at the Scout Hut but a small number of tents may be permitted by prior arrangement but only for members of participating dance sides.

But the good news is:

The good news is that we have satisfactorily completed negotiations with The Woodlands Park which caters for tents, caravans and motor caravans.

The Woodlands Park is situated on the A262 just 3 miles from Tenterden Town Centre.  Click here for a map of the location of The Woodlands Park (from Multimap).

As the site is not within easy walking distance of the town centre we are trying to provide a shuttle bus service.
