Friday 6^th to Sunday 8^th October

A full weekend festival of folk song, music and dance. Tenterden, situated in the ancient Weald of Kent, about 12 miles west of Ashford, is an ideal setting for this friendly, family folk festival. It features one of the widest High Streets in the country lined with historic and listed buildings, numerous friendly pubs and restaurants and green verges.

Tenterden Folk Festival 2006 is supported and/or partly funded by;

Tenterden Town Council, Ashford Borough Council, The Foundation for Sport and the Arts, Shepherd Neame, Hobgoblin Music, Talking Elephant Records, Courtfield Audio, Tenterden Leisure Centre, Waitrose and an increasing number of businesses and organisations. The Festival could not happen without the support and co-operation of the landlords of all the public houses and the other venues. Thanks also go to the schools and other organisations that support the Trust’s educational projects throughout the year.
